Meeting Examples

Toastmasters SessionsA Toastmasters meeting is a learn by doing. Participants improve their speaking skills in an environment where they support each other. A typical club meeting lasts 2 hours.

There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. The members rate each other. These feedbacks are a key element to the success of the program.

The meeting participants are leading improvisation sessions, organize meetings and develop skills related to timekeeping, grammar.

In every meeting we have 3-4 speakers presenting independent subjects selected for their specific level. Each level focuses on different objectives such as the structure of speech, body language, use of voice, etc.

All speeches are then evaluated by an experienced speaker. Apart from these oral evaluations, he or she receives written comments by all members.

We encourage our many speakers with applause, we show our colleagues our appreciation for their efforts, and we prepare them for conferences and events.
